LEGAL
Privacy Policy
This explains, in plain English, what happens to the information you send us through this website.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Titus Original ("we", "us"). We decide how and why the information described here is used.
Titus Original is the trading name of Titus Florin Belciu, a sole trader. Business address: 3 Wyllen Close, London E1 4HQ.
To contact us about privacy, email hello@titusoriginal.co.uk.
2. What information we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it:
- your name
- your business name, if you give one
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give one
- what you need help with
- your project description and anything else you write
For an enquiry we don't ask for anything else, and you don't need an account to use the site. If you become a customer, we also keep the details needed to deliver and invoice the work: the agreement, invoices and payment records.
Like any website, the service that hosts it processes technical information such as your IP address and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site to you.
3. How enquiries are received and stored
When you press send, the form passes your details to a form service (Formspree). It records the submission and emails it to us, and we can also see it in our Formspree account. The email arrives in our business inbox, which is hosted by Apple (iCloud Mail).
4. Why we use your information
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to take the steps you ask for before and during a project. Our legal bases are:
- Taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing a contract with you if you become a customer.
- Our legitimate interests in answering enquiries about our business and keeping sensible records.
- Legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records for our customers.
We don't add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry. If we ever start sending marketing by email, phone or text, we will handle your choices separately and follow the rules that apply to electronic marketing.
5. How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't become a project, we delete it after 6 months, from our form service and from our inbox.
If you become a customer, we keep your details, agreement, invoices and payment records for up to 6 years, to deliver the work and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
6. Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the website and the contact process. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
| Provider | What it does | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Formspree, Inc. | Receives and forwards contact form submissions. Its privacy policy | The details you type into the form |
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website and delivers its pages. Its privacy policy | Technical information such as your IP address and the pages you request |
| Apple (iCloud Mail) | Hosts our business email inbox. Its privacy policy | Enquiries and our replies |
| PayPal | Processes payments if you choose to pay by PayPal. Its privacy policy | Payment details, and the name and email on the payment |
If you pay by bank transfer, your bank and ours handle the payment. The website's fonts and images are hosted on the site itself, so your browser doesn't contact font or image providers. We may also share information where the law requires it.
7. Transfers outside the UK
Formspree is based in the United States, and Cloudflare, Apple and PayPal operate worldwide, so information may be processed outside the UK. Those providers explain the safeguards they use in their own privacy policies, linked above.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information, in some circumstances
- limit how we use your information, in some circumstances
- stop using your information where we rely on our legitimate interests
- give you your information in a portable format, in some circumstances
Email hello@titusoriginal.co.uk to make a request. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (helpline 0303 123 1113). We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
10. Security
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use established providers to handle the contact process.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
